Hippo Along Zambezi River

During a dinner cruise along the Zambezi river just outside of Livingstone, Zambia, this hippo was with a few of his friends. Every time he would yawn, we would get a full look at how far he could open those jaws up. They are considered one of the more dangerous animals of Africa, killing many people every year.

This was part of my trip to East Africa in 2006.
