Ger Night Shot - Photo Of The Day
In July of 2007, my wife and I were in Mongolia while on our Trans Siberian and Trans Mongolian Railway trip. we spent a couple of days in Terelj National Park just a hour or so outside of Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia. It was at a ger camp where we had the privilege of staying in one.
Late at night, all we had was candlelight. There was a mirror in our ger and so it was time to capture some night shots. This one turned out well. I simply held the camera as steady as possible and snapped a picture of myself in the mirror with the candle at the base.

Great use of the darkness and candle lighting. Good grief -- what settings were you shooting with? Had to be a pretty slow shutter or a high ISO. Turned out well though.
