Inside Cathedral Of The Spilt Blood - Photo Of The Day

Written by Neil Galloway

Cathedral of the Spilt Blood

Inside the Cathedral of the Spilt Blood there are no chairs and no where to sit. Every inch is covered with images. This view is looking straight up into one of the giant domes on top of the building.

At first I thought you were up high looking down but that's up? Good grief. I think I might've gotten dizzy. So is that a real chandelier or painted?

It isn't a chandelier. It is looking into the dome of one of those giant onion shaped spires you see on Russian cathedrals. It is painted up on the inside of an image looking down. It is a bit disorienting.
