I Love Digital Cameras

Written by Neil Galloway

If you have read much else of my site, you will realize that I love photography. I take quite a few photos and took the plunge a year and a half ago into the digital SLR realm. I purchased the Nikon D70s and it was the best decision I could have made.

I am green with envy when I see the new models with bigger screens, more megapixels, and the annoying little things fixed, but that is going to happen. The price of technology. Owning a digital camera is probably one of the best steps you can take for the novice or beginner to start taking better photos and more frequently. They are easier to share online and you can quickly examine the quality of your photo on the back of your camera within a second of shooting it.

Purchasing digital cameras is the fun part. There are so many options and everyone has an opinion. When I bought my Nikon, each camera store sales person had their bias towards Canon or Nikon it seemed. Overall, it does not really matter. A name brand camera is going to fit most of your needs and the biggest consideration is its usability and price.

I went into a camera store and literally tried out as many as I could in my hand. Seen how they felt, checked if the menus on the screen were easy to navigate, was the eyepiece nice to look through, and the list went on. If there is something that really annoyed me with the camera then I put it down.

Once I found the camera I wanted, then it was time to buy. Basically the lowest price is the winner. A good option is to head online and search for bargains on the internet.

This is a PayU2Blog posting for Ritz Camera. They are an online site that feature a variety of cameras to purchase. There pricing is pretty competitive and I notice they offer a lot of packages with a couple lenses and a bag, but you can still just buy the camera body if you want too. Check out there site and compare. They definitely have the selection.
