Finding a Real Estate Broker
Selling and buying a house is always a big step whether it is your first time or not. I have only purchased a house once. A couple years ago now, but it is still pretty fresh in my mind because it is a unique experience unto itself.
You are committing a large sum of money into an investment. Most of us will be going into long term debt over it as well.
Some people say it is overrated, but I think have a good real estate broker can make a big difference. They play a business role, but also emotional one as well. They reaffirm your decision and offer some handy tips when your are looking.
Make sure you find a broker you like though. If you feel you can trust them and they don't rub you the wrong way, it can make the experience of selling your house ten times better.
