Electronic Checks
Okay, this is a new one for me. Electronic checks. I don't know if you have heard of these, but I am doing a PayU2Blog paid posting for Check Vantage regarding electronic checks.
From what I can understand on their website, someone could take down information regarding a check on the phone and have it processed electronically. You don't have to wait for the check to be mailed to you to get your funds. Fast and secure, this might be a new way of doing business that catches on. The individual does not have to qualify for a credit card or if their card is maxed out they will have another option to pay quickly over the phone.
I can't say I have tried it yet, but I will definitely consider using electronic checks the next time I do a phone transaction. Especially if I am unsure of using my credit card. Check Vantage does the electronic check processing for you and lists a number of advantages on their website to using this style of payment. The most obvious features are the reduced time to wait for funds and the cost savings in handling of checks.
